Meet The Owners

Meet the powerhouse behind Zen Warrior Armory: Jason and Amy Keck.

Jason has been fencing since childhood and was a competitive fencer for many years. His expert knowledge of the weapons, armor, and other fencing gear is a major advantage for Zen! He has a detailed understanding of how each specific weapon and piece of armor should work, how they are made, and how to use them.

Amy is the business manager and runs day-to-day operations in the office. Her eye for detail, experience in customer relations, business-to-business relations, and creative touch drives the office staff to excellence daily!

Together, they are the driving force behind Zen Warrior Armory. With Jason’s knowledge and skills, and Amy’s business prowess the business is constantly driven to innovate, create, and reach for excellence!

Wanda, Head Seamstress
Emily, Seamstress

Meet The Seamstresses

Our head seamstress, Wanda has been with the company for over 25 years. She is responsible for all custom orders. She will take the measurements you provide and create a work of art for you to wear. Allow 6-8 weeks for production.

She is the creator of almost every garment we sell. She can create magic with her sewing machine. If you want something you’ve only seen in pictures, contact us and let Wanda create magic for you!

Our apprentice seamstress, Emily, is Jason and Amy’s daughter. She is learning the fine art of garment creation from Wanda. She has been working as a full-time seamstress since 2022 and is very proficient and skilled in the art! Emily has a strong creative streak and enjoys creating custom capes, cloaks, and period garments in addition to fencing gear. She also is skilled in embroidering!

In addition to our staff seamstresses, we also contract several seamstresses during high-production seasons to ensure we get your orders sent to you in a timely manner. This includes some who can provide custom knitted, crocheted, naalbinding, and custom woven edge bands.
